Who You Would Be
 
The Strategic Planner will focus on developing core insights that lead to compelling digital strategies for clients. Through consumer and market research, creative briefs, idea conception and social/mobile ecosystem development, the Senior Strategist plays a key role in driving innovation and ideas for new and existing clients. Ideally, he or she would be passionate about the digital space, have an innate curiosity about consumer behavior, and be a strong presenter – selling through strategies to both agency and client teams. They would possess smart, engaging personalities that want to join a growing team and help define the future of an agency.

The Strategic Planner will work with clients to define business as well as brand goals and develop digital strategies based on consumer insights, trend analysis and business objectives.  He or she will understand the key trends that drive consumer behavior and affect the way that brands communicate – always living at the intersection of brands, culture and creativity.  The Senior Strategist will regularly compile/conduct research for client team, which may include competitive data, emerging opportunities, and consumer insights.
The Senior Strategist should always be working to advance POSSIBLE’s thought leadership and digital marketing capabilities by identifying trends and industry insights.  They will oversee or execute against key planning deliverables for client & team including development of the creative brief in partnership with the Creative Director and Account Director.  He or she will provide strategic voice for clients across all platforms – web, social, mobile, tablet, email, guerilla, etc.

As a strategic planner, you know how to research, write, present and debate. You work well in team, together with other planners, creatives, AM’s, designers, etc. Your clients like you, because you’re smart, funny and charming. And modest, off course.
·         You have strong analytical and reasoning skills
·         You’re an excellent speaker, debater and moderator
·         You can structure and build-up a compelling story
·         You have a good pen (or keyboard) for writing
·         You have a strong vision on the role of digital in the MarCom industry
·         You follow societal and industry trends and apply them to brand strategy
·         Your colleagues and clients enjoy working with you

You are experienced in most of the following domains and are specialised in one or more of these topics:
·         Digital Strategy
·         Creative Strategy
·         Channel Planning
·         Digital and social media
·         User experience (UX) design thinking

Desired Skills and Experience
 
Must Haves
 
·         3-5 years overall experience, including digital marketing and traditional planning
·         Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
·         The ability to work in an autonomous environment
·         Proven planning/strategy background and strong consultative skills
·         Team player who is highly collaborative
·         Experience working with big brand, high level clients and across entire organizations
·         Ability to build compelling strategic stories from a variety of inputs and information
·         Comfort working with creative, account and analytics teams
·         Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or Business focus preferred)
